I really can't seem to make this painting to where I am pleased with it. Here it is, the Lonely Church.
I like to do simple acrylic/watercolor paintings. I also like to work with photography. This blog is just an easy way to collect and share them. ReplyDeleteMy first reaction to this painting is that if there were a Northstar and then a little more light on the backside of the church--it would make a beautiful Christmas/note card. Nice use of light in the stained glass. My mind did not see it as lonely--my mind saw that the light of Christ was already full-- inside it....perfect. Interesting how each person takes away their own interpretation of an Artist's work.
